Trick Photography Book Review in 2018.
I do not do reviews at all, but I wanted in this case. "The book with a photograph of Trick," written by Evan Sharboneau, is an in-depth and interesting book. In fact, I really liked it.
He will certainly enlighten photographers of all stages on the method of obtaining these special effects photos. Even for those who may never have lifted a camera in their life or use simple cameras, you can still make a lot of special effects. The book even offers to help photographers in a simple and understandable way.
I liked his methods, approaches, and I was glad to read the whole book at first sight. Evan made himself proud. The book has a lot of information that all photographers, regardless of stage and level, should take a copy of this book.
Long exposure effects and easy painting
Setting the Shutter Speed
Setting the aperture
Adjusting the white balance
General settings for light paintings
These are just a few of the innumerable things that you will find in the book. I can do much more, but now you can list everything here.
Evan is very smart. He talks a lot about lighting and other wonderful photography techniques that you can create at the end of your subsequent processing. In other words, at the end of creating your photo. I liked how he understood in detail and determined how everything works mutually, from beginning to end, to create his last photo. Lighting is the key to photography, and Evan talks about it in great detail.
When you first open a book, you come across a huge table of contents.
To begin with, the information that it provides is so great. He not only understands all the things you need to know, like in better lighting, but he talks about cameras, composition, software and other technical details that he describes very easily.
High Speed Photo
One of my favorite features of his book was the section High Speed Photography. Want to see what a balloon looks like when it bursts? His high-speed picture, but the images look as if they were captured in slow motion. This is a section you do not want to miss. He explains all the equipment you need (yes, you can set it up at home), where to buy equipment and how to put it all together.
Photos are outstanding. I really felt that I was excited by the opportunity to shoot my photos at a high speed. I can not wait to try it.
Evan also describes the section on bubbles and macro photography. The images are stunning, and you are really transported to another world, looking at them. You can create wonderful effects, abstract photos and extremely interesting photos of close bubbles. You see the bright curls of water on the surface of the bubble, and the surreal patterns look like something from a fantastic book.
Fortunately, photographing the smoke is also in the book. I'm grateful because I have so many photo enthusiasts asking how to shoot the smoke. Now I can take them to the book of Evans. I really like this part. He talks about lighting, things to use as background, and what is needed to accurately capture smoke and create interesting and amazing patterns. You do not need to use cigarette smoke; you can also use the smoke from incense.
Recommendation - final evaluation of the book
I have been a photographer for many years. I know how much it can be when you first start not only taking good photos, but also individual effects. Evan makes this course of action easy, pleasant and really enlightened. I highly recommend this book. I recommend it to all my clients who learn about photography.
It's easy to learn and enjoy the creation of your first special effects photos. I recommend getting a copy of the book. It costs $ 97, but I seriously think that he should ask twice the price. It costs much more than the current costs. It simply shows the generous nature of the author.

Increase your imagination: if there is something that keeps the photographer back, it's the inability to tap into your imagination and come up with a new perspective or a way to shoot a specific frame. This book can overcome this tendency and help you to free talents within you.
In-Camera special effects methods.
The simple methods presented in this book can give you a whole new perspective on how to shoot simple scenes. You can use many of these methods to create completely new types of photos for your portfolio. Below are examples of photographic tricks that can be done in the camera and without any help from editing software, such as Photoshop.
About the author
He also wrote several other books that cover other aspects of this last effort. They talk about how to make money on photos using an external flash, filters and more. It is clear that Evan Charbono has achieved sufficient success to actually buy a piece of equipment, which, he said, you do not need, and he too must use it. Is this a sign that he is insincere about Trick's photography and special effects or just so that you can trust someone who has been so successful? I'm torn, but at least some things are clear. Firstly, this guy is really the one who says he is, and looks pretty young. Secondly, if he wrote this page, he is a master of the hype, sales and self-promotion. Thirdly, it's very easy to buy his book, which is available for $ 47, using your credit card or PayPal account, and you do not even have to keep a paper copy in your hand. This book will take up less space than a set of camera lenses.
Perhaps as important as the information presented in this book is how it encourages you to continue exploring new methods in photography.
